The Wonderful “Clean-Up Deadman’s Curve Day” in Bethpage
Forty-Two people from the Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society, the Bethpage community, Boy Scout Troop 604 from Bethpage and the Long Island Branch of the Tzu Chi Foundation came together on Saturday to clean-up the historic Deadman's Curve.

Mystery Foto #9 Possibly Solved: Powell Avenue Bridge and Nibbe Farmway Bridge in Bethpage?
After one week of comments, I believe Frank has solved the mystery. Most likely, the photographer was looking south on the Motor Parkway towards the Powell Avenue Bridge and Nibbe Farmway Bridge.

The Bethpage Lodge (1910-1960s): A Classic Repost from 2009

Central Park Historical Society Marker: The 1908 Motor Parkway Ground-Breaking Ceremony
Earlier this month, the Central Park Historical Society dedicated two markers in Bethpage honoring the Long Island Motor Parkway. The second marker was placed on Stewart Avenue near the site of the Motor Parkway Ground-Breaking Ceremony held on June 6, 1908.
